Q: How much money will my company save?
A. We can typically cut anywhere from 3% to 10% off your invoices through the refund auditing process. Plus, when we help you negotiate your new shipping rates based on your historical data, we’ll save you even more.
Q: Which shipping carriers do you audit?
A: We audit invoices from both UPS®, FedEx® plus DHL® and Purolator®.
Q. We audit our invoices internally, and we’re very good at finding the mistakes. Why would we need MTC to audit our shipping costs?
Unless you’re only shipping a few packages each week, it is nearly impossible to go through every single invoice by hand, enter each package ID into your web account, check the specific delivery time, and go back to FedEx and request to be credited for the charge.
You would have to take every step, for every single package shipped, on every single invoice, to do what we do automatically, in seconds. (Your refunds are applied within hours, not days.)
The time spent dealing with your carrier’s rep to manually request a single credit can cost you or someone on your staff at least an hour in time.
Q. My company has top-tier shipping rates on our account because we ship a lot of packages. Can MTC really lower our costs any further?
Most of our clients are high-volume shippers. Many spending millions of dollars in a single month shipping packages across the world. All of our clients have the top-tier rates from their carriers.
But it’s impossible, without automated technology, to track each individual package, find inaccurate surcharges, and confirm every package was delivered on-time, as promised.

Q. Will the use of your services change the rates we’ve negotiated with our carrier?
A. No, our services will have no effect on your rate discounts now, or in the future. Under the carrier’s “Money-Back Guarantee,” you are entitled to utilize any means available to ensure you receive a prompt refund when your package is not delivered on time.
Part of the current rate you’re paying today goes towards assuring your packages will be delivered promptly.
Q. Will your service cause any issues with my contract?
A. The truth is, the carriers want you to be happy and continue using their services. If they could provide the services that we do, then you wouldn’t have to worry about finding your own refunds and discounts.
But the carriers aren’t in the business of finding their own mistakes. They leave that up to their clients! So whether you do it yourself or hire a company like MTC to help find the errors and recover the refunds owed to your organization, there is no impact on your relationship or your contract. (Note, with the information you gain from working with MTC, you will have a leg-up when it’s time to renegotiate your contract.)
Q. How much does it cost?
A. Everything we do is specifically built around your business. We provide you with the unique, customized information and reporting you need to make informed business decisions. We’ll help your organization find and retain as much money as possible. Although we typically get paid on shared a percentage of the money we get back for your organization, we have many options available.

Q. Why can’t we just go through our invoices, find charges and get my money back without working with MTC?

Plus, by utilizing our technology to audit invoices, we quickly and easily dig through the thousands of individual charges you’re receiving throughout the year.
Your company only has a 15-day window to submit your verification to the major carriers. Timing is critical.
Q. Do I have to send you any reports or invoices? When will my company receive the money back from each shipping carrier?
A. Once your carrier’s information is added into our system, there’s little you or anyone in your organization will have to do. In fact, because we consolidate all of your invoices, the payment processing of your invoices is much faster and easier.
